AutoWear: How to begin?

Hi, I need to start tasker tasks on my smart phone using my WearOS watch. AutoWear seems to give me the chance doing that. Is it really necessary to use wireless debugging to make AutoWear working? My goal is to create a watch tile with 4 different (phone) task launchers. I have no clue how to begin. Help appreciated...

Wireless debugging is not needed for basic AutoWear command execution from watch to phone. On your phone, open AutoWear, go to 'Manage Commands' and create four unique commands (e.g., 'launch_task1', 'launch_task2'). Next, in AutoWear on your phone, navigate to 'Tiles', create a new tile, and add four buttons. Assign each button to one of the commands you just created. In Tasker, create four separate Tasks. For each Task, create a Profile using 'Event > AutoWear > Command' and set the 'Command Filter' to match one of your AutoWear commands (e.g., 'launch_task1'), linking it to the respective Task.

For Tasker, it's just a simple 'Event > AutoWear Command' profile listening for the specific command string to trigger the corresponding phone task. It feels like a lot of steps initially, but it's pretty reliable once configured.

My first question would be: are your four phone tasks already defined in Tasker, or are you looking for guidance on creating those as well? Also, have you already connected AutoWear successfully between your phone and watch, or are you running into issues with the initial handshake?
